Hard to believe, but it happened in reality. A Hungarian bank lost $28,000+ in a crash after a bank's security van met an accident with a prison van carrying convicted robbers.

While rescue personnel saved the prisoners from their burning van, a small fortune disappeared from the security van as bags of money spilled out onto the streets of Budapest.

Civilians were seen driving up and grabbing the cash before speeding off again.

By the time law enforcement arrived the money was gone and there was no trace of those that had taken it.

Police suspected the robbery may have been organized from jail by crime bosses and carried out by gang members still on the outside.

But after interviews with the inmates - who were being transported from court back to jail - those suspicions were quickly refuted. The prisoners claimed they had nothing to do with the crash.

"The bank remains very suspicious. Of all the vehicles that could have hit their van, it had to be one full of bank robbers," said a police spokesman.

It was supposed to be the Indian wedding of the year but ended up in complete mayhem when two elephants (one in heat) went on a 15-hour rampage smashing vehicles, blocking traffic for hours and spreading panic in a town near Delhi (India). Every year, a male elephant is in heat for up to seven days — a period called Musth, where they become aggressive and difficult to control — and Wednesday happened to be one of those days for Sheru. Seems like Amanda Millard was addicted the the 1960s children's TV show The Banana Splits, enough to torture her neighbors all the time. Finally, she was convicted by Brighton magistrates of breaching a noise abatement notice and fined £250.

Brighton & Hove City Council's noise patrol officers visited the flats on several occasions and heard that TV theme plus other tracks including The Animals' House of the Rising Sun and Bob Marley's Buffalo Soldier played at full volume.

Councillor Geoffrey Theobald, the council's cabinet member for environment, said: "The neighbours of Ms Millard have clearly been subjected to unacceptable levels of noise for a long period of time which has had a serious effect on their quality of life and wellbeing.

"We are pleased that our environmental health officers have been able to work with the victims to gather the evidence and to bring the matter before the courts.

"This sends out a clear message that this council will not tolerate noise nuisance will prosecute those responsible."

All her babies were taken away by social services over fears of neglect. The fears were not unsubstantiated as she smoked throughout all her pregnancies despite four children being diagnosed with disabilities. One son died of rare brain condition Pheo Syndrome at 18 months old.

‘I've had an implant put in to stop me getting pregnant.

‘I can't have kids for three years but I can have it taken out. It's not worth it, having your kids taken away from you.

‘Ive been called every name under the sun and we want the end of it. I just want it all to lie and rest.’

Ms Winters slammed social services, claiming she and Toney were ‘treated like murderers’ after the birth of their fourteenth child.

She said: ‘He was a gorgeous little boy.

‘I came out and he stayed in hospital. We weren't allowed there without a social worker being present.

‘He was given a temporary guardian - some random person we'd never met before.

‘We met her in court for five minutes and that's the end of it, no appeal. It was a case of here we go again.

‘I was angry, I was annoyed and I was crying. Nobody helps us.

‘They're saying we've got these problems and we need help but social services should pay for our counselling.’

Tragedy almost struck in December when the six-week-old baby boy contracted meningitis and the couple were allowed to visit him at Luton and Dunstable hospital.

But he pulled through and is now still living with his guardian.

Ms Winters said she would now put all her efforts into finding her eldest daughter, who she last saw in 1995 when the tot was just two years old.

She added: ‘My concentration will be on finding her. I don't know where she is and the last photo I had of her was when she was four.

‘I won't give up on any of them. It's long shot but if I catch up with my kids they'll know the truth. All of my children are going to be told the truth.

But it is not the same anywhere, we are surrounded with cameras and technology to share it with the whole world. So, gone are the days of getting away with sleeping on the job, because you never know who will tweet, facebook, mizozo, etc. it, like the one below -

Wieler was leaving the station when he saw the ticket agent catnapping in full view. "I stood by for at least five minutes and he was sleeping," said Wieler.

Some riders were laughing while others were talking about him, he said. A few even went through without paying their fare or showing their Metropass. "I thought here we are, with a fare hike, and look how the money is being wasted."

As soon as the photo was posted, the comments began piling up, mostly from annoyed transit users.

"I didn't post to get anyone in trouble, but to highlight TTC problems," said Wieler.

The TTC is taking it seriously, spokesman Brad Ross said.

"Employees have a responsibility with respect to safety of the station and the system," said Ross. "We expect them to be always alert on their jobs. This is unacceptable."

But he said there might have been extenuating circumstances.

"We are asking for an explanation."

Police in Malaysia were called after the housekeeper found the note was a fake when she tried to change it to local currency at a bureau de change.

When officers arrested the man they found fake currency with a face value of $66m in bundles of $1m, $100,000 and $500 notes in his Kuala Lumpar hotel room.

The man now faces up to 10 years jail if convicted of possessing counterfeit currency.

The largest denomination of US currency ever printed by the US Treasury Department was a special edition one for $100,000 in 1934.

The largest US note currently in wide circulation is a $100 bill.

This is not the first time the Lebanese man has been in trouble with the law, police said.

A Malaysian court charged him last week with cheating over the sale of office supplies in 2005 in a separate case.

Cheating, or fraud, in Malaysia carries a maximum penalty of five years.
